Scope: Geotechnical Services, Instrumentation and Monitoring
Al Hudayriyat Island in Abu Dhabi is a landmark development, featuring the world’s first man-made mountains in the dredging industry. MAS Geotechnical & Material Testing Laboratory was commissioned to deliver a comprehensive geotechnical investigation and monitoring program, including borehole drilling, CPT, laboratory analyses, HPD testing, piezometers, inclinometers, and real-time monitoring.
Scope: BDSLT and conventional SLT
MAS provided Bi-Directional Static Load Tests (BDSLT) and conventional Static Load Tests (SLT) to evaluate foundation piles for this luxury coastal development. The program ensured safe, efficient, and technically sound delivery of the foundation system across the five interconnected islands.
Scope: Geotechnical Services
MAS conducted Cone Penetration Testing for the Al Saja Military Terminal to evaluate subsurface conditions, providing essential insights into soil properties and bearing capacity to support safe foundation planning and rail infrastructure development.
Scope: BDSLT
MAS was awarded Bi-Directional Static Load Testing (BDSLT) for the terminal modernization. The testing program evaluated the load-bearing capacity and behavior of piles, ensuring compliance with design specifications and supporting safe construction for one of Angola's key infrastructure projects.
Scope: Geotechnical Services
MAS provided borehole drilling, cone penetration testing, and geotechnical support for this luxury island retreat, delivering key ground condition insights to guide foundation and infrastructure planning for villas, amenities, and recreational facilities.
Scope: Geotechnical Services
MAS performed comprehensive cone penetration testing for this high-end coastal community development. The work provided key ground insights, supporting safe foundation and infrastructure planning across the mixed-use residential and marina development.
Scope: Pile Testing and Geotechnical Investigation Services
MAS delivered pile testing (Static Load, Low-Strain, Crosshole, High-Strain Dynamic, Caliper Logging, CPT) and geotechnical investigations for this $5B luxury development, providing reliable data to validate design assumptions and mitigate geotechnical risks.
Scope: Geotechnical Services
MAS conducted land and marine investigations, CPT testing, and advanced laboratory analyses for the port expansion project, providing critical insights into ground conditions to ensure safe, efficient, and technically sound construction for Khalifa Port.
